Happy Friday! It has been very rainy here in Richmond this week. I’m talking rain every day. Blah.
But last night, it finally turned into snow
I don’t think Charlie knew what to think.
My mom taught me this trick a few years ago, and I have always remembered it. At the early onset of snow, place a sheet over your windshield. Then the next morning, all you have to do is pull it off! No scraping required!
It saved me this morning before heading to the gym.
Speaking of the gym, I didn’t spend a whole lot of time there this week. Don’t get me wrong, I worked out, but I switched it up and kept it interesting:
Weekly Workout Recap
- Saturday: A.M. Barre class + New Moon Rising Trail Run
- Sunday: 30 minute run/walk
- Monday: 3.5 mile run
- Tuesday: Barre class
- Wednesday: Hot Vinyasa Yoga
- Thursday: Barre class
- Friday: 45 minute pyramid interval workout (treadmill at the gym)
I was planning for Sunday to be my rest day this week, but it was 65 degrees outside, and I had to get outside.
On another note, my meals were very uneventful; I basically had the same thing for breakfast and lunch: green smoothie in the morning, almond butter & banana sandwich for lunch. I am on a big budget, so AB&B sandwiches it’s going to be for a while. Good thing I love them!
I did however receive my winnings this week of Gena’s giveaway (Thanks again Gena!)
There are 6 flavors, and I have been incorporating them into my daily diet, in addition to my morning green smoothies may I add. Getting in those fruits and veggies!
- As a snack
- Paired with my AB&B sandwich for lunch
- With chia
I have really liked each and every one!
I really like drinking another green juice with my lunch, not only for the additional serving of fruits and veggies, but for it’s staying power. I even made an extra glass of my green smoothie from this morning to have with my sandwich today.
What are your thoughts on juices/juicing? If you drink them, do you have it for a meal replacement or snack?
